If you are one of those who have lost loved ones to radiation, I offer my most sincere consolation! As one who has lost family to low dose radiation treatments, I find it laughable to continue believing humans were capable of travelling through intense radiation belts, unshielded, into constant solar wind, galactic background radiation, and onto an irradiated lunar surface, dodging micrometeorites, solar flares, and gamma ray bursts!
The space physicists must feel quite smug knowing how stupid the masses are still believing men to have landed on the moon!
I guess if it's good enough for the Priests...it's good enough for the physicists...
It's really too bad our academia is so reliant on financing from the government. Otherwise our scholarly space physicists could come right out and let everyone know the truth about the Apollo fraud, and redirect our energies and resources towards developing effective shielding technologies. Ones which could open up adventures into and beyond our magnetosphere FOR REAL this time.
